Meet the Team
Pat Kerin
founder and finance director
Pat founded the company in 1989 based on three basic principles: quality, honesty and integrity. He is very proud to say those principles are still at the core of the company today, as is Pat. He continues to be a valuable member of the team.
Job role: Drinking tea and telling everyone to stop spending money.
Hobbies: Golf and in the “earlier days” playing football.
Daniel Carey
Managing Director
Dan joined the company as a carpenter in 2014. Forming a great partnership with Pat, Dan was able to expand on the foundations already in place, and to this day the company continues to go from strength to strength with repeat work from current clients.
Job role: Spending money and telling Pat it was necessary.
Hobbies: Rugby, countryside walks, historical buildings.
Lisa (Kerin) Jackson
payroll & Finance administrator
Lisa joined the company in 2015, although the company had been a large part of her life before that. Currently Lisa has a part-time role within the company, and we are not sure how she manages to do all her work within those hours!
Job role: Questioning the directors about payroll errors, missing remittance slips and checking a lot of beer and food receipts.
Hobbies: Countryside walks and paddleboarding.
Rees Collins
Construction manager- building division
Rees worked for the company as a carpenter between 2016 and 2018, and he returned to Kerin Construction Ltd in 2020. Rees was brought in to bolster our building division with his valuable experience. He is a real people person with a fantastic vision for our clients’ requirements.
Job role: Keeping a close eye on the weather to avoid working outside in the rain.
Hobbies: Rugby
Larry Wright
construction Manager- Civils division
Larry joined the company as a steel fixer in 2016. He is a highly valued member of our team and plays an integral part in our growth. Larry is a company’s man who performs his responsibilities to the highest standard, and we are continually hearing positive feedback from our clients regarding his can-do attitude.
Job role: Telling the directors that works cannot be completed to their programme, only to go on and beat the programme.
Hobbies: Golf, fishing, touring in his motorhome, VW festivals and walking the dog.
Lorraine Wright
PA to directors
As our latest member of the team, Lorraine joined the company in 2021. With a medical background, she had a lot to learn about construction. To date she has exceeded our expectations with every task she has been given and continues to bring great ideas and a wealth of knowledge. For us, the gamble paid off.
Job role: Tea and doughnut distribution and ordering plenty of PPE with the wrong company logo #keepthebogroll.
Hobbies: VW festivals, dog walks, meeting with friends and socialising.
